I like his teasing manner ("But we've met before . . . you said so yourself; once upon a dream"). He's cute; he can dance; and he falls in love with Aurora before learning she's a princess. But my favorite thing about him is that he has to work hard to get that kiss from her (unlike Prince Charming on the cartoon version of Snow White - sorry to any of his fans). Prince Phillip has to break out of prison, chop through thorny bushes and slay the dragon - all before he can climb the tower and kiss the girl he loves. Which translates into a great love story for this romantic. :)
So which cartoon prince is your favorite?

I agree 100%. Philip is the best. He earned the right to be Aurora's love.
While in Disneyland, I bought a print of Philip bending down to kiss Aurora. It symbolizes my love for romances. Plus, it's a pretty cool pictures. :D
Sleeping Beauty is my favorite Disney cartoon! And I agree with you, Prince Phillip is the best. I mean, let's take Cinderella...in that story, the prince doesn't do too much at all. I mean, sure, he goes looking for the girl to fit an abandoned shoe, but that's nowhere near as brave as Prince Phillip fighting the evil queen-turned-dragon! :)
Stina - Sounds like a super cool - and romantic :) - picture!
Melissa - LOL. Yes, Cinderella's prince is one of the others that doesn't have to do very much. Maybe he should have been the one to take the shoe around to all the girls in the kingdom. :D
Oh you make such a good case, but I'm going with Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid.
1. He falls in love with her voice before her looks.
2. He searches that voice out because he loves it.
3. He's humorous (laughing at Grimzby's sea legs and horsing around with his dog)He gets a kick out of Ariel's nutty behavior like brushing her hair with a fork. I love that about him.
4. He fights a flipping sea witch for her!
5. His eyes sparkle.
Oh. My. Good. Gravy.
I'm in love with a cartoon prince! What?! LOL
Jess - While I'm still sticking with Prince Philip, I will concede those are great reasons why Prince Eric is a worthy contender as well. :)
