Scotland
I've visited just a tiny portion of this country and loved it, but I want to see so much more.
Ireland
Most of what I saw of this country was from the bus heading north.
So again, I want to go back and really explore!
Mackinac (Mackinaw) Island, MI
I lived in Michigan for a year and half but never got up to the upper peninsula. The Grand Hotel (above) was built in 1887 and featured in the movie Somewhere In Time. No one is allowed to drive a car on the island.
Prince Edward Island
Anne of Green Gable's home - need I say more?
Do you love to travel? Is there a place you visit often? If you could go anywhere this year, where would it be?

I am dying to go to Northern Europe and just take it all in. I have Anne of Green Gables on my bedstand to read for the umptenth (sp) time.
I have all sorts of places I'd like to visit. I'd really love to go see a rainforest someday. I'm such a horrible traveler, though. I get terribly homesick. Maybe someday though.
I love your site and as I browsed your blog I decided to award you the Best of Romance Blog Award.
Go to http://astorybookworld.blogspot.com/p/awards.html and pick up your award.

You probably would love Galicia, the northwest corner of Spain. It looks very much like Ireland and has a Celtic history that the locals identify with strongly. It's a beautiful place, and not terribly expensive.
Pam - Thanks for the link to that gal's blog - how cool to actually live on Mackinac Island. And yes, Northern Europe would be neat to see, too.
Angie - So many cool places to see, so little time. Not to mention babysitters, since most of these trips would be sans children. :)
Deirdra - Thanks for the award and I enjoyed your blog, too!
Elizabeth - I've heard Spain is beautiful. Galicia sounds like a fun place to visit - I'll have to add it to my growing list.
Ooh, you've travelled? This is something I don't really know about you! I knew about the MI thing .... Dying to know more now!
We're planning a trip to Scotland in 5.5 years, for our 25th wedding anniversary ~ WITH our boys. This year there are two places I want to go: to Nova Scotia (not far from PEI!) for Christmas with my sister and her family, and a cruise with my fam around the eastern Caribbean. I don't know if either trip will happen. But I can dream! And hope and plan!
I am in a constant state of wanderlust. Fortunately I married a man who shares my love of travel, and we've passed the 'gene' down to our daughter. She loves adventure as much as we do.
Lovely pictures.:)

I want to go to Alaska in a pretty bad way! And Greece! But these pictures are really tempting too.
