What funny things have your kids said or done lately? What's been a LOL moment for you? What ethnic candy/food would you love to eat and instantly be able to speak that language (me: a tie between French and Italian)?

We were at a barbecue last night and one of the guys there had some Chinese candy from work. My boys tried some, and then my second son came over and quietly asked me: "Does eating that candy make you speak in Chinese?" I laughed and laughed!

LOL That is too cute. My son Myles says so many things it's become a regular fb request for Moments with Myles.
His latest went like this:
"Mom, my sunburn hurts. You should have done a better job with the sunscream."
"Sunscreen, not scream."
"No, I had it right the first time." Then he fell in the floor and wailed.
Funny post, Stacy! :)
Jessica - That is hilarious. The same son who said the Chinese thing also calls Netflix - Neckflicks. "Is there something new on Neckflicks?" :)
I love the things come up with. :D
My LOL moment came from last night with my husband. I had been muttering about not being able to figure out how to spell mahogany on my own (at least in my word processor's opinion) and he asked what was wrong. When I told him, I asked him if he knew what it meant.
"Sure. It's a type of relationship, isn't it?"
*grin* Only if you're a tree.
The idea of food=lingual abilities is intriguing!
LOL! That is really funny, Danyelle.
Somebody needs to invent that whole food=lingual abilities, or at the very least, put it in a book. :)
That's so cute! I used to work with a girl who was originally from China. When she went there to visit her mom, she brought back some Chinese candy. And no, I'm not speaking Chinese now. :)
Sarah - Did you like the candy? I didn't try it the other night, but it sounded like some of it was pretty good.
I love that idea! If only it did. I remember a time when my little one was coloring. Testing out each crayon one at a time. When she got to the white crayon, she scribbled it onto the white page, then looked at the crayon, and then the paper beneath it. She tried one more time before finally looking up at me and saying, "Mom, this one's broken." Cute.
Kimberly - That is super cute! My daughter loves to draw, but we're still working on keeping it on paper only. :)
Too funny! If only, huh? My hubby and I are diligently studying Spanish, and we love Mexican food, but that doesn't seem to be speeding up the process.
My grandson thinks we have to win to come visit him-- we don't know what??? but we hope it is wild!
Elizabeth - Good luck with the Spanish!
Terri - How funny! I hope you win something really cool. :)
I can't tell you what my 2yo said last night when he caught a glimpse of me naked...but I'll tell you it was funny.
I can't think of any right now :(
But your LOL moment is so cute!
Tamara - LOL!
Ali - This particular son has quite a few funny lines. Although the other day is older brother used the word "officially" in a sentence, which cracked me up.
